Covering an area of more than 20 km², the Sölden glacier ski area is one of the largest in Tirol and all of Austria. At altitudes between 2675 and 3250 meters there is absolute snow guarantee on the white mountain flanks of Rettenbach and Tiefenbach Glaciers. Some 34.5 km of slopes await you on both sides of the connecting ski tunnel.
Spend your time where it really counts: on the slopes! 8 top modern mountain lifts take skiers and snowboarders quickly up to the glacier ski area runs. In theory, around 16.500 people/hour can be transported, and in practice, skiing fun in early autumn and fall is guaranteed to take place without waiting times. Most of the mountain lifts and gondolas start at the base stations of Rettenbach and Tiefenbach Glaciers, which can be easily reached by car or bus on the Eastern Alps’ highest panorama road.
